From the Davao region, South Philippines, our Philippine cacao comes from a local social enterprise that sources cacao beans from individual farmers and cooperatives.
The farms supplying the beans are all close to Mount Apo National Park, which is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, harvested from trees that are planted under forest cover or intercropped with coconut trees.
Perfectly, the flavour profile is like a walk in the forest during autumn. Perfect for the changing seasons! Expect the pleasant freshness of mint and green apple with an undertone of pinewood. You might also notice a subtle hint of bergamot zest!
