After years of lovingly crafting our chocolate drinks for you to enjoy at home, we found ourselves dreaming a little bigger. In the summer of 2024, that dream started to take shape: what if we could serve our drinks to you, prepared by us, out in the world at local markets and events.

At first, we had no idea what that would look like - just the idea and the excitement to follow it. So we started looking for something on wheels, and soon enough, we found the perfect blank canvas: an old horse trailer. It was worn, rustic, and full of potential. So we rolled up our sleeves and got to work transforming it into what is now our very own mobile cacao bar.

It took a lot of sanding, painting, rethinking (and a fair bit of learning along the way), but slowly, our mobile cacao bar took shape. It’s still a work in progress - there are always things we want to improve - but we love what we have created!

Being able to serve our cacao and chocolate drinks by the cup and talk directly with people about what we do (and why we do it) has been one of the most rewarding steps we’ve taken. It’s been such a joy to see cacao bringing people together in real time.

If you’re near Newcastle Upon Tyne, come say hello. You’ll regularly find us at Jesmond Food Market on Armstrong Bridge, NE7 7BE on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. There’s nothing quite like sipping a chilled or steaming chocolate drink while wandering the market or chatting in the sunshine.
